Maitake Mushroom

Maitake Mushroom Grifola frondosa appropriately known as the King of Mushrooms. The Maitake mushroom has origins in northern Japan and has long history in traditional Asian medicine and cuisine. It has immunomodulatory, anti-inflammatory, anticancer and antioxidant properties among others.

Clinical studies show the maitake mushroom to be effective at enhancing immunity, fighting cancer, assisting in diabetes and other related conditions by lowering blood sugar levels, and supporting heart health via lowering blood pressure and cholesterol as well as promoting weight loss.

 We use a Double Extraction method with the Maitake Mushroom. Several of the medicinal constituents we want to extract such as polysaccharides (beta-D-glucans) are not sufficiently released in an alcohol extraction and are rendered less effective in the process. A separate extraction in water (decoction) is blended with a separate extraction in alcohol, this combination is the ideal procedure to maximize the amount of both water and alcohol soluble constituents. Concentration/Ingredients 
1:4 - Organic maitake mushroom, organic alcohol, organic glycerin, distilled water.

Suggested use:
30-40 drops (1.5-2 mL) two dropper squeezes in at least 4oz of juice, water, etc. Take 2-3 times per day. Approximately 40 doses in a 2oz bottle.
