American Ginseng
American Ginseng
American Ginseng is classified as an adaptogen, and endocrine amphoteric. Clinical trials report benefits to the adrenal HPA axis function and sympathoadrenal system SAS. Correcting and balancing these systems allows proper functioning of the immune system and overstressed nervous systems. Studies have shown American Ginseng to help control insomnia, chronic fatigue syndrome and type 2 diabetes.
Most inflammatory bowel diseases such as ulcerative colitis, crohn's disease and leaky gut syndrome are due to an autoimmune issue. The ability of American Ginseng to modulate and either increase or reduce immune system response along with its anti-inflammatory properties make it indispensable for autoimmune issues.
