Breathe Respiratory and Lung Tea is a restorative tisane formulated to promote and restore lung and respiratory wellness, loosen congestion and soothe irritated nasal, respiratory and throat passages.
Ingredients: as they apply to the respiratory system.
- Mullein leaf - expectorant, anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, antiviral, antimicrobial.
- Marshmallow root - demulcent, diuretic.
- Yerba santa leaf - expectorant, antispasmodic, antiseptic.
- Turmeric root - anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, lung repair
- Elecampane root - anti-inflammatory, antimicrobial, anti-cancer, antibacterial, antifungal.
- Holy basil/Tulsi leaf - adaptogen, expectorant, anti-anxiety, antiviral, immune amphoteric, antibacterial, expectorant.
- Licorice root - adaptogen, expectorant, demulcent, antiviral, immune amphoteric, antitoxin.
- Black pepper berry- expectorant, anti-inflammatory, bioavailability (turmeric).
- Peppermint leaf - bronchodilator, anti-inflammatory, decongestant
- Calendula flower - anti-inflammatory, antimicrobial.
Taste: A delicious and refreshing blend of herbs with mint and licorice notes.
Suggested use: Shake bag well to evenly mix herbs.
Treatment: Scoop 1-2 tablespoon of tea into your loose leaf vessel. Pour in 1.5 cups of (195-212) deg F water. Steep for 10 to 15 minutes. Take 1-2 times per day. This is a medicinal dose. Once major symptoms have subsided reduce dosage to maintenance dose.
Maintenance: Scoop 1-2 teaspoons of tea into your loose leaf vessel. Pour 8 ounces of 195-212 deg F water. Steep for 10 to 15 minutes. Take 1-4 times daily.
Precautions:
Do not use during pregnancy. May interact with blood thinning and heart medication.
